    On 25 September 2014, the EU notified the WTO of a draft Commission Directive to amend the migration limits for lead in toys. If adopted, the enforcement date will be 18 months after publication in the OJEU.

    The Standardization Administration of China (SAC) notified the World Trade Organization (WTO) of proposed revisions to its toy safety standard (GB 6675). GB 6675 is proposed to be split into four separate standards and below is an overview of major changes in chemical requirements. The proposed date of entry into force is 6 months after adoption of the standards.
