Notification of EU RAPEX ¡ª August 2016 |

In August 2016, 167 cases of products were notified by EU RAPEX system, of which 89 cases (53%) were originated from China. Detail information about Chinese products notified are as below. I. Category of Products Notified The category and quantity of the products notified are as below:
II. Analysis of the Notification 1) 29 cases of products that do not comply with the requirements of REACH were notified. Following are the detail information and part of examples.
2) 21 cases of products that do not comply with the requirements of the Toy Safety Directive were notified. Following are the detail information and part of examples.
3) No products that contain too high SCCP, do not comply with the regulation on persistent organic pollutants (POP Regulation), were notified. 4) No products that do not comply with the requirements of RoHS 2 were notified. |
