On 27 April 2017, the official Journal published a new directive (EU)2017/738, amending Toys Safety directive 2009/48/EC. The amendment reduced the limited value of lead in the table under point 13 of part III of Annex II to Directive 2009/48/EC:
This directive is addressed to the Member States, and they shall apply those provisions from 28 October 2018. STQ remind you pay high attention on the amendment, and take steps to make sure your products comply with the new requirements. |
