In February 2018, 185 cases of products were notified by EU RAPEX system, of which 97 cases (52%) were originated from China. Detail information about Chinese products notified are as below. I. Category of Products Notified The category and quantity of the products notified are as below:
II. Analysis of the Notification 1) 22 cases of products that do not comply with the requirements of REACH were notified, all of which notified are because they contain too high phthalates. Following are part of examples.
2)31 cases of products that do not comply with the requirements of the Toy Safety Directive were notified. Following are the detail information and part of examples.
3) 3 products that contain too high SCCP, do not comply with the regulation on persistent organic pollutants (POP Regulation) were notified. Below parts of examples:
4) No products that do not comply with the requirements of RoHS 2 were notified.
