In August 2015, the Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed(RASFF) of EU have notified 10 cases of Food Contact Materials (FCM) products, 9 cases of which are originated from China.
The subject notified are mainly formaldehyde and melamine from melamine articles, overall migration and migration of chromium , nickel and manganese from stainless steel articles and PAA from plastic articles. The details are as below:
