In January 2016, the Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed(RASFF) of EU have notified 7 cases of Food Contact Materials (FCM) products, 4 cases of which are originated from China.
The subject notified are mainly formaldehyde and melamine from melamine articles, migration of cadmium and aluminium from ceramic articles. The details are as below:
