Recently, the German AfPS published a new standard AfPS GS 2019:01 PAK on polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) limits in products that are subject to the GS Certification. The new standard will come into effective on July 1st, 2020, and the old document AfPS GS 2014: 01 PAK will lose its validity after June 30, 2020.
Compared with the old standard, the new one AfPS GS 2019:01 PAK has two significant updates, includes:
1) Three substances are deleted, which are Acenaphthylene, Acenaphthene and Fluorene.
2) The category content are modified:

*Children legally defined as a "child" is a person before the age of 14.
Used by children includes both active and passive direct contact by children.
